I know I have commented in past times on this issue or similar ones, but only today have I really felt a genuine completeness on this issue. I have to admit I was inspired by another users post a user by the name of prisoner. But nonetheless I now feel a solid moral security in the realm of Sexualization RL photography with or without editing.

I came to realize that the internet isn't a tool that is controlled. I will never know what the makers originally intended. Whether it was laziness or design that fashioned the protocols we use today to propagate data along the pathways. However the fact still remains that the internet is in many ways modeled after our own world.

Now on the internet you do have the advantage of default anonymity. Imagine you are wearing a burqa a garment worn in some islamic countries and even here. Contrary to popular belief wearing one is in many cases a woman's choice, which many choose to do so that they will not be sexualized by men and hold an equal place with them in various social situations. That is what anonymity is like on the internet. You might have to say if you are a boy or girl in some communities but none require you to expose yourself.

Now what I think a lot of people misunderstand about the morality issue of copying pictures on the internet is what comes next...

When you post a picture of anything, whether it be you your sister your dog or your house you take off it's digital burqa. Just as if you brought it to the mall or town square or insert the largest gathering place near you. You put it out for everyone to see it. Now you may keep a password on it or make it so only your friends can see which is like putting a fence around it, the better the protection the higher the fence. But regardless anyone can either climb said fence to get a look or dig under the fence.

So its out there your media, picture video etc. If it is of yourself or someone you know its like walking outside without a burqa on. Not to say you're running around naked or in skanky clothing but anyone who isn't blind can see you, and if you're attractive in some way to someone they may memorize your face and go home and do something with that. Whether it be thinking "gosh that was a cute person" or if they masturbate to whatever fantasy they enjoy. And then to elaborate on that that person may say to a friend or group of friends "Hey theres a particularly attractive girl who walks around the mall around 4pm" and the person or parties may see you and masturbate to their own fantasies as well.

I would parallel this RL photography here and photomanipping. Copying a picture and posting it here is akin to telling your friends "Hey theres a pretty girl who works at Mcdonalds" and manniping is akin to overlaying your own fantasies on the image of that person. Now manniping allows you to share your fantasies with others, but thats the entire purpose of a forum anyways to share thoughts or in this forums case the fantasy of vore.

Very often I hear the argument "well what if it was your sister in the pictures?" or nsert a similarly important person, and in most cases I would have to say no I don't actually care anymore now. I wouldn't like to see it as I am not attracted to my sister but if she posted a picture of herself it is now out there for people to sexualize her as they wish. The internet makes it much easier to keep your burqa on. You never have to post a picture of yourself its a choice you make. You can control how people use that image just as much as you can control what people think about your appearance when you walk out your front door.

Some may say well what if someone else posted a picture of your sister though? Well my sister apparently most likely willingly let people take a picture of her and didn't bother ask or tell the other party not to post pictures of her. If it is otherwise and pictures were taken of her unwillingly or she explicitly revoked consent to post them then we are in a different situation all together, and I would support the victims in a quest to remove the pictures from the public. But this is another issue, the issue in question is photos taken willingly and posted willingly by all parties photographed. Trying to ban all photography because some is taken without permission is akin to amputating an arm because a finger was infected. The amount of photography taken willingly far exceeds the alternative.

So in conclusion when anyone posts themselves online it is like walking out of your home without a burqa on. People will look at you, some may like what they see, and you have to realize that some will think things that you might not like. Its not that they are bad people for doing it, and its not your fault for walking out your door. But nonetheless it happens, it is one of those gray areas where the emotionally, psychologically, morally, philosophically, socially, logically and ethically strong persevere, endure, put up with and most importantly understand the human condition and its new creations and the otherwise not as strong doubt the rightness of others, fail to see past symbols and see the truth of actions and decipher them in terms of more common actions we take everyday, Then in the end the not so strong seek their own brand of justice to enforce upon everyone.3 Comments
