Well, this is a silly little sketch. Straxacore and I were chatting about what a great predator a goose could be, with that long, slender neck and the plump belly and ...stuff, but she asked me to show here how I'd draw it.

I don't normally draw pictures that looks like this, but this -is- the general way I'll draw a sketchy picture quickly.

Oh, and I made her a dominatrix just 'cause. Why not. I think her stage name is the Lily-necked Lady.

OK, I just watched the video. Thank you SO MUCH for posting it, by the way. The problem is, I don't know if I'm encouraged or discouraged now. I think I was kinda hoping that if I saw an artist with your skill draw something from scratch, it'd give me hope... seeing all the erasing and misplaced lines that you eventually sketch into the right place.

You didn't have to erase a single line! Everything went down exactly where it needed to go the first time. It's like you already saw it and were just drawing lines over something that was already there. I'm in awe of your abilities... but now I'm even less confident that I'll ever be able to draw original characters on my own.

If it helps, that was the 4th time in an afternoon I'd sketched her, and the time before was the same picture but I had the settings on the screencap software set wrong. :)

Yeah, actually that DOES help. I hope you'll consider doing another recording the next time you go for one of your high end pics. I was literally glued to my screen watching the video for this one. I'd love to see how artists like you turn rough circles and sketched lines into their final renderings.
