Trapped Like a Fox

It was a bright, sunny day as Inu-yasha and the rest were having a picnic in the middle of the forest. Hachi had come by with his own (rather large) sack of food and was sitting about six feet away from the rest. Shippo looked at the stuff they were going to eat and nearly gagged. All that Kagome had brought with her this time was a bunch of health food and carrots. There wasn't even any potato chips! Then he took a look at what Hachi was eating. Mounds of ice cream, five different types of cakes, huge jugs of chocolate milk, a bunch of sugar cookies and so much more! "Uh, I'm just gonna go wash my hands before I eat." Shippo said in a barely audible whisper. After he was far enough not to be seen he began to sneak towards Hachi's stash of food. He poked his head from behind a nearby tree and thought about what he should take. "Well, that chocolate cake looks good, but so does a few of those cookies. I know! I'll just take 'em both!" With that Shippo put a leaf as well as well as a sutra on top of his head and turned invisible (a trick that was only temporary, but it would do the trick).
Hachi was starting to really get into his meal, so much so that all he could hear was him responding to how good everything tasted. "Mmmm". Shippo quickly snuck to the picnic blanket and then slowly walked towards the piece of cake he was after, until he tripped over a small piece of licorice that was lying around. "Whoa!" he said as he fell face first into the cake. Hachi, after finishing up his first cake, slowly leaned over and picked up another piece, even though it did look slightly crushed for some reason. Shippo struggled to get out of the confection, but before he could even manage to move he felt the felt the cake and himself quickly rise up. He looked forward to see what it was and his answer in the form of Hachi's fat, dripping maw. "Hey! Put me down or el-" were the last words Shippo uttered before being casually thrown into Hachi's maw.
Hachi closed his mouth and began to lightly chew his food. Shippo (now visible but still stuck in the cake) watched in horror as Hachi slowly closed his mouth, severing any connection that Shippo even existed. The last thing he saw out there was Inu-yasha and the others, laughing merrily without him. Now all he saw, though, was the inside of Hachi's maw. His teeth were ivory white with several lines of drool crawling off them and his gums were a bright pink as well as the insides of his cheeks. Suddenly the tongue undulated and Shippo was smashed to the far side of Hachi's right cheek, freeing him from the cake. Hachi began to hum a happy tune as he swished his food from cheek to cheek, savoring his sugary treat. For some reason this particular piece seemed to be a few steps better the others he's tried. He couldn't figure out why, though.
Shippo struggled against the probing tongue as it smashed him from one cheek to the next, becoming saturated in Tanuki drool. Then, he heard a loud growling noise from below. Shippo sniffled in despair as he felt the Tanuki's head tilt upwards. He held onto the tip of the Tanuki's tongue as he saw the esophagus open wide. He felt the first *gulp* as the very tip of his tail was tail was caught. *Gulp* He slid down slightly as his whole tail was now caught. *Gulp* now half his body was squeezed in as Shippo made a desperate grab for Hachi's uvula...
Hachi gagged as he felt something caught in his throat.
Shippo hoisted himself from the throat and jumped back onto his tongue. "All I have to do," he said " is poke my hand out from between his lips and the others will see me!" He reached Hachi's teeth and began to pry them open. Slowly, inch by inch they opened up. "Almost there!"
Hachi quickly reached for a container of chocolate milk and drank it all down as a huge bulge descended his throat. "BURP! Ahhh, much better!"
Shippo landed with a *splash* Into Hachi's huge stomach (about five feet high and five feet wide) The acids were as high as his knees and the walls were a bright red and looked like they were several feet thick by his perspective. He quickly ran to the nearest wall and began to pound it with all his might. "INU-YASHA, KAGOME! SOMEBODY, ANYBODY, LET ME OUT OF HERE!!" Outside, Hachi was waving goodbye to Miroku as he walked off into the distance. He then untied his belt and let his belly surge outwards as he continued to rub and pat it.
Shippo felt the stomach sway from side to side as he was taken away from the rest of the group, never to be seen again.
