Kyuubi on the loose

(Note: It's in the first Naruto season, everyone have all their techniques gained during the season, but Sasuke isn't in the dark side of the force for this story)

There was a thunderstorm raging outside in the whole fire country, but it wouldn't stop Naruto for his morning training at all. He was already in the woods and completely alone to train. He was about to start when he felt a presence surrounding him. After a few seconds it showed itself.

Naruto looked closely to see it was Itachi and Kisame again! “What are you doing here?” He roared. He didn't wait an answer and dashed toward the duo, but Itachi effortlessly knocked him out with a quick karate shop on the neck. “Let's go Kisame; we can't let the others wait.” Itachi said before disappearing. Kisame dropped Naruto over his shoulder and disappeared too a few seconds later.

Naruto woke up slowly, still dozing from the hit he received on the neck. He looked around him, and when he tried to get up he noticed he was tied hard on a chair. Then he remembered what happened. “Where am I? Itachi! Kisame! Where are you? Let me out so I can kick your butts.” Naruto yelled, getting no answers. Then, a sudden pain got around his whole body and he shrieked, not knowing at all what was happening. Nobody was around him and he felt horribly weird, each second it was getting worse. The red chakra was emanating from his body, but this time it wasn't being molded; it was getting stolen! The chakra started to solidify, the walls around Naruto were starting to crack as the red energy filled the whole chamber and was still growing.

After some unending minutes, the chakra was completely extorted from the Uzumaki's body and the walls exploded, making Naruto lose consciousness. The red chakra finished solidifying, taking the form of a giant red fox. It looked around and grinned greatly as he knew what happened. “Finally, I'm free!” It roared in happiness.

Meanwhile, Itachi and Kisame returned to see the Uzumaki's unconscious bode on the ground. They looked up high to see the fox demon right in front of them, starting at them. “It's out, but I didn't expect it to be that powerful. Hey, fox, we freed you from your prison, now you deserve us obedience.” Itachi claimed, getting a laughter as answer. “You fools, you don't know who you're speaking to aren't you? You freed me indeed, so I think I can do something for you… but don't expect a second that I'll ever obey you.” He explained, scooping them both in his enormous paw. “What are you doing?” Kisame asked, surprised. “Well, I think I won't kill you in a usual way… I'll swallow you whole instead of chewing you slowly and painfully.” He answered, laughing pretty loudly after. Then without warning, he tossed the nukenins in his mouth and swallowed them before they could react. The bulge in the demon's throat started to squirm halfway down his neck, but at this state it was way too late for both of them.

Naruto gained consciousness just as the demon turned back to walk away. Naruto retained a scream at the sigh of the monstrous beast. “Kyuubi.” He muffled before running back towards Konoha.

Naruto burst in Tsunade's office, making her drop all her documents. “I hope you have a very good reason to this.” She said coldly. “Of course I have old lady Tsunade. Kyuubi is free!” “WHAT? Tell me you're kidding right now!” She roared angrily, she wasn't in the mood for a bad joke. “No it's not, I got captured by Itachi and Kisame and then I…” “Wait, Kisame and Itachi were here? You really couldn't just run away?” “Let me finish, then when I woke up, I was tied on a chair and it extorted Kyuubi out of me. I don't really know, but I think he ate Itachi and Kisame.” He explained, out of breath. “Itachi and Kisame were… eaten? If it's true, we are in real trouble now. Let's gather as much troops as we can, if the nine-tailed fox is on the loose, he will probably starts to destroy everything as he tried 12 years ago. Let's go!” Tsunade concluded, getting out of the office, letting a stunned Shizune in.

Later…

“Well, I know there aren't many chances… but here are all the troops we managed to find: Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, Sasuke Uchiha, Shikamaru Nara, Ino Yamanaka, Choji Akimichi, Kiba Inuzuka, Hinata Hyuuga, Shino Aburame, Neji Hyuuga, Tenten, Rock Lee, Kakashi Hatake, Kurenai Yuhi, Asuma Sarutobi, Gai Maito, Shizune, Jiraiya and myself. That makes 19 people to fight the demon… Hopefully this will be enough; I don't like the idea of sending genins in an S-rank mission like this, but I need to take drastic measures to take down that demon fox once and for all. Everyone's ready?” explained Tsunade. Everyone answer in unison “Yes Hokage-sama.”

They were all going to leave when they heard a loud scream from the village's front door. They quickly went there to see who screamed and they saw Kyuubi looking down at a young woman looking in her very early twenties. They tried to rescue her, but the woman got crushed under the fox's paw before they could arrive. “Everyone, in position!” Tsunade yelled, everyone hiding in the trees and try to find a way to attack the demon without being seen. The first person to react was Gai, who appeared beside Kyuubi's left back leg. “Konoha whirlwind!” He said, spinning at a very fast speed and hitting directly the ankle and making the fox lift it in surprise. He looked back to see the tiny human that did this and growled at him. “Pathetic fool!” He growled before using one of his tails to hit Gai who got propelled in the air and landing in the demon's maw. He did Konoha whirlwind again, but Kyuubi had planned that and tilted his head to the side. Gai spin right in the fox's throat and is welcomed by a loud gulp that sent him down, the muscle pulling him powerfully downwards.

“Gai-sensei!” Lee yelled, but stopped by Tenten. “Stop it Lee or he'll get you too. Stay focused we need you out there not in there.” She remarked. “O-okay, but we need to hurry or Gai-sensei will be digested alive!” He replied, answered by a nod from both Tenten and Neji.

Kyuubi noticed someone in a tree near his head; grinning evilly he gnawed the whole tree in his mouth and swallowed it whole. The person in it was Jiraiya who was planning something to attack the fox demon… he was too busy to notice the demon had noticed him and couldn't dodge the sudden move and got entrapped in the wet mouth. He was one of the only ones who could do the same thing as the fourth Hokage and he couldn't possibly let himself eaten that easily. He jumped off the tree on the fox tongue just in time before the huge tree disappeared in the dark abyss of the demon's throat. “Phew, that was a close one. Now how can I get out of here?” He wondered. “You can't, the only way you're out is in the other side.” The demon voice boomed around in the mouth. Then, the tongue suddenly lifted the sannin to the roof of Kyuubi's mouth and knocked him over. He rolled all the way, unconscious, to the throat and Kyuubi swallowed hard; sending the sannin down his throat.

“Everyone gathers here, Gai and Jiraiya have both been eaten. Come here quickly!” Shizune ordered. A few seconds later, everyone gathered at Shizune's tree and surrounding without being spotted by Kyuubi. “What can we do now? Jiraiya and Gai-sensei lost so easily, there isn't much chance we do better than them.” Sakura whined. “That's all we can do, we need to stop him, or die trying. If we fail here the whole planet is doomed.” Kakashi replied, keeping an eye on the demon that was searching for them.

“Watch out!” Neji shouted, two of the fox's tails wrapped around Tenten and Shino. “Everyone, get away from his tails!” Tsunade ordered, dodging another tail just in time. “We will keep him busy while you prepare a seal to seal him back.” Ino said, Shikamaru and Choji standing on her side. “All right, but stay very careful, Kyuubi's very sneaky.” Tsunade finished, everyone dispersing around the fox. The three stand in front of the demon as he swallowed Tenten and Shino which he had just thrown in his maw; the scroll mistress and the bug host had no chances against such a demonic beast, its chakra was just way over their maximum. “Formation Ino-Shika-Cho.” They all said together, preparing their jutsu. “Meat tank!” Choji said, his body transforming into a big ball and rolling on one of the fox's paw at a fast speed. While the demon was distracted Shikamaru placed his hands together. “Shadow Possession Jutsu.” His shadow reached the fox, keeping him in place. Ino was about to control his mind when they heard screams. They looked to see he had caught Shizune and Lee. “Wait a minute, Shikamaru started, if he can still move his tails….. OH NO!” He yelled, but when he turned back it was too late, the giant mouth closed around the three of them and sealed them in the dark and wet maw of the demon fox.

They trashed around to try to get out, but it was useless against him and they all fell in the dark pit of his throat, followed by a loud gulp. Then the fox threw Shizune and Lee in his mouth and swallowed again. “It's clearly too easy. Bwahahaha.” He laughed, looking at the remaining people and then at his squirming stomach. “I can see they are still struggling down there hehe. These ninja are squirmy and that's how I like them. Come on get over here… you should go in my mouth already, we all know it's going to end like this anyways.” He shouted. Nobody listened as they were all doing their part of the job.

Tsunade, Neji and Hinata were trying to prepare the sealing jutsu before it was too late while Naruto, Kiba, Sakura and Sasuke were still distracting Kyuubi, it didn't looked like it was effective. They were dodging his mouth greatly for a while and the sealing jutsu was almost ready. Meanwhile; Kakashi, Kurenai and Asuma were on the fox's left side, figuring out a team move they could do to make the fox spit everybody out. They hadn't much time left as his tails were not giving much trust and the fox seemed to have interest in the others. “We'll try this it seems; Kurenai! Show him how strong your Genjutsu is!”

Asuma ordered and the illusionist ninja obeyed directly. Kyuubi suddenly felt weird as plants started to sprout out of the ground and then vines wrapped around his paws. “You think that Genjutsu is going to do anything? Pathetic!” He growled, canceling the Genjutsu, but the vines were still after his paws! “How is it possible?” He asked, unable to break free. “I got you; this isn't a mere Genjutsu Nine-tailed fox. We are going to weaken you until you're weak enough to be stuck in the sealing jutsu again.” Kurenai explained with a confident smile.

Asuma started to cut the demon's body with his sharp knuckle-braces. He was running and jumping so quick Kyuubi wasn't able to follow with his eyes or catch him with his tails, the Genjutsu seemed to be working pretty well on him! Kakashi prepared his Chidori to make the weakening blow to the demon so Tsunade would be able to seal him again. “You're done for now!” He yelled, dashing toward Kyuubi. Suddenly, the demon's eyes opened wide and he lowered his head; mouth gaped. Kakashi tried to brake, but it was too late as he dashed right in the soft tongue. Kyuubi swallowed the faster he could before breaking the vines way easier than he pretended earlier. “What? My Genjutsu wasn't working on him since the beginning? How could I have been so dumb?” She cursed herself. The fox scooped her with his paw and smiled. “I must admit it was working, but that electric boost helped me a bit.” He mocked with a loud laughter. Asuma tried to save Kurenai but only got caught in the paw too. “Now my two friends, let's see if you're as good inside than outside.” He growled evilly, tossing them in his mouth and licking them all over. “Yup, very good.” He commented, tilting his head back and taking a powerful swallow.

“Kurenai-sensei!” Kiba yelled, dashing at the demon with Sakura. A few seconds later, Sakura was caught in the demon's mouth at a quick move from the demon that she couldn't dodge, at Naruto and Sasuke's horror. “Sakura-chan!” Naruto yelled while Kiba gave a red pill to Akamaru. “Human-beast jutsu.” He said, turning Akamaru in a copy of himself. “Transformation jutsu.” He added as they fused to form a giant two-headed and white furred wolf. They were only half Kyuubi's size, but it was still a better advantage than earlier. At this state, Kyuubi had already gulped down Sakura and Kiba cursed to himself. “Garuuga!” A voice boomed around, Akamaru and Kiba starting to spin at an incredible speed. They didn't even reach the fox demon that an incredible amount of chakra hit them and propelled them on the ground. They transformed back into their normal self and are chomped and swallowed by Kyuubi a few seconds after.

Then the fox demon proceeded to go towards the group that was making the sealing jutsu. “Oh no, I won't let you do this another time mortals!” He roared jumping on where they were, and breaking the scrolls. “Damn it!” Tsunade yelled just before a red tail scooped her and threw her in Kyuubi's mouth. She struggled ferociously, banging at the demon's teeth with her tremendous power, but he swallowed with incredible persistence until the Hokage fell in the dark pit of his throat. He smirked, looking at the remaining four. “It seems it's a piece of cake from now on, no more sannin, only four pathetic genin.” He remarked with an evil laughter.

“What to do now? He's way stronger than expected; even Tsunade-sama and Jiraiya-sama were unable to do anything against him.” Hinata remarked. “We can't stay here and wait for him to come and get us. If you could use your Byakugan together on him… maybe his chakra could be slowed or even stopped and then we'll be able to strike. Naruto and I will try to get the seal jutsu ready again. Let's hope we'll succeed or the world is doomed.” Sasuke ordered, the cousins immediately dashing to the demon's side. “Now! Jyuken!” Neji ordered, followed by Hinata who both did their hit on Kyuubi's front legs. The demon fell on his belly, unable to stand up. “How can that be? Damn that Byakugan of yours!” Kyuubi growled. “I'm not going to lose here though.” He added, using his tails to try and grab the Hyuuga's. They hit the tails to prevent being caught, but after two tails, Neji got caught and was being dragged towards the demon flooded mouth. “Neji-niisan!” Hinata yelled. “Don't worry about me Hinata-sama, don't get caught, you can still paralyze his other tails, quick!” He ordered before being stuffed in the demon's maw. Hinata gasped, but calmed down and hit a tail just before it hit her.

Neji was struggling inside; he didn't want to go down that way. He dug his fingers in the fox's tongue, making him open his mouth. Neji jumped out. “Neji-niisan!” Hinata sighed. “He won't catch me like that; he'll have to be stronger than that to do so.” He said, wiping off drool from his forehead protector. They paralyzed every tails but one… unfortunately it tired them very much and they couldn't dodge that last who wrapped around them. The Hyuuga's tried to loosen the grip, but they were too tired and they had no chances now. They got stuffed in the giant mouth and swallowed easily.

“Rasengan!” A voice boomed around, Naruto hitting the demon right in the throat and piercing it. Neji and Hinata fell on the ground, covered in mucus and drool. “Naruto-kun, thank you so much!” Hinata tanked, before fainting. “Yeah, thank you, we'd be in there if it wasn't from you.” Neji added. Before Naruto could answer, a big barf sound could be heard. Sasuke ran towards them, the scroll ready in hand. In the vomit, everyone that had been swallowed earlier was laid. Most of them were okay, but those who were in the stomach longer were partially digested; mostly Gai and Jiraiya. As soon as Sakura and Tsunade came back to consciousness, they healed everyone and they all looked at the inert body of the fox demon. “He isn't dead, we need to finish him off before he…” Tsunade started, but the demon vanished in a red smoke.

“He's gone… but something tells me we're gonna see him again very soon. This time we'll be ready for him.” She added. “Oh right, that baka-fox will taste of my Rasengan another time when I see him.” / Away…“Enjoy your victory mortals, I'll be back very soon, but this time you won't survive Bwahahahaha!”
