FNaK: Phase 1 Remaster - Casting Call!

Postby KyleWaterdrop » Sun Mar 24, 2024 3:18 pm

Voice Actor Needed! The role open is Detective Margarette Jackson. PM for Details!

An official remaster of both Five Nights at Kyle's games, in one place!

To kick off Phase 2, I decided to remaster the first two games in the series. Rather than releasing the remasters separately, I decided to release them as a combo deal.

Screenshot (10).png

The wolf will now be named Snow, as a request from the friend who gave me the original character.

The remaster for Game 1 will include:
Spoiler: show
Revamped animatronic designs with more personality, using Koikatsu rather than VRoid.
An overhaul to the Casino itself with more distinctive rooms, more posters, etc.
Proper voice acting for Phone Guy and Detective Jackson, as well as better story cutscenes.
A complete overhaul to the mechanics using the original FNaF's AI
A shop with items you can use to aid in progression. Coins are earned by completing Nights. The harder the night, the better the reward.
A fully custom soundtrack, done by me.
An optional "Endurance" mode. No power drain (Minus Prototype), all Animatronics at max, and no timer. Go until you die.
Power Drain now works closer to FNaF, with the drainage getting faster with each door closed.
Nyx will have a whole new mechanic.

DETAILS ON GAME 2 WILL BE PROVIDED AT A LATER DATE!

Very excited to see this! I enjoy the original games a lot, I had a lot of fun with them.

Will you be adding external belly images for game overs? (I don't about how you make the models so I'm not sure what limitations you have in regards to modeling "full" image versions.)

Either way, good luck! I hope the development goes well!

I might be able to this time. No promises though

not going to lie when I played the original game I was pretty scared and/or stressed but the jumpscares didn't have that kick to make me jump. are you going to make the jumpscares more terrifying in anyway? If you ask me I think it was missing two things speed and movement.

There will be improved animations, but the choice to have soft and loud screams will remain for those not into horror

Still working on the others, but here are the posters for Kyle and Trey.

Originally, Trey was going to also have headphones, but I'll save that for the environments.

Some things are best left unanswered, like why we are here on this website and why we enjoy what is on it so much.

Are you into post-vore weight gain? If you're able to implement specific animatronic game over screens, Given the choice between bellies or post-vore, which would you want to go for?
When it comes to most bosses, thank god for obvious, glowing weak spots.

I can't wait to show you guys what I came up with to improve Game 1. It's an absolute overhaul. That being said, I am currently taking this very slow, as I have many things outside of development I need to do.

In the meantime, I have decided that I will be doing the original YCH Promotion as I originally planned for the first game. Due to some limitations of VRoid studio, all characters will be wearing the Night Guard Uniform to make outfits easier.

It'll be $5 a slot. PM Me if interested!

Yeah, I can definitely see that. Maybe there could be clothing or accessories from the night guard around the animatronic that ate them. Wearing it or just having it laying around.

Oh, that's easy. They can wear the shirt and tie

Already sounding good. Bigger animatronics wearing/playing with the guard's clothing, maybe stretching or ripping while they wear it. Ah, sorry, thinking a bit too far. Well regardless, sounds like some cool stuff to look forward to.

Real shame Eka's doesn't allow AVI or MKV files as the attachments for posts like this, but here's a GIF of the new Jump Scare animation.

It wasn't a lot of work, surprisingly. GIF is a bit slow, but don't worry! It'll be faster in game.

Progress Report:
I have everything in place to code the first game. However, I'll be taking a brief break to experiment with Godot Engine for a bit.

I don't have an estimate as to when this will be released just yet.
